Samadhi Yoga Study Group
Introduction to Samadhi Yoga Study Group — A Direct Path Through the Yoga Sutras
(6-Week Study Group |January 31 through March 14th, 2026)

Samadhi Yoga is a structured, experiential journey designed to illuminate the core teachings of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and support a gradual, authentic approach to Samadhi—the heart of yogic meditation. Rooted in the clarity of Vyaas Houston’s Yoga Sutras — The Practice, this study group is intended to help students step by step toward a deeper inner stillness and a more refined capacity for direct experience.
The intricacies of this process are explored in our advanced Kriya Yoga training program, however, the essential and basic practices are helpful for all yogic meditators, and so we are offering this course of study to all sincere students of meditation and yoga.
Six-Week Study Group: Foundations Through Vyaas Houston’s Teachings
This is a six-week study group exploring the essential principles outlined in Vyaas Houston’s work. This group will meet weekly. Together, participants examine the mechanics of practice, the transformative power of concentration, and the progressive stages of inner absorption. Sessions include guided reflection, discussion, and short practical exercises that reinforce the text’s most important insights. Session themes and reading assignments for each week will be provided after registration is complete.
A Pathway Toward Direct Experience
This Samadhi Yoga Study Group is designed for sincere practitioners who wish to internalize the Yoga Sutras as a living tradition. Each component of the process—scriptural study, guided practice, and long-term integration—creates conditions for a stable and progressively deepening experience of Samadhi. Students learn to recognize the inner movements of attention, refine the quality of awareness, and cultivate the silence where the Self becomes naturally apparent.
