December 2022 Ayurveda/Meditation Online Retreat
Join us for an online retreat weekend dedicated to Ayurveda and Yogic Meditation. During this two-day event we will practice intensive meditation together and learn about the power of Ayurveda as a support for our yogic practice and lifestyle. Kriya Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Doctor Ryan Strong will present on how to strengthen our inner agni (fire) for greater ojas (vitality). Kriya Initiate and Ayurvedic Health Counselor Angela Hammond will present on strengthening Sattva (clarity) through cultivating the four-pillars of health. Ryan Kurczak will lead meditation sessions each day. This will be a great retreat for new Kriya Yogis and advanced practitioners.
Date: Saturday December 10th and 11th 2022

Retreat Cost: Donation Basis. A link for donations will be sent via email at the conclusion of the retreat.
Location: Hosted through Zoom. Once registered, Zoom login details will be emailed two days before the event begins.

Please share a sentence or two about your experience with meditation and Ayurveda and the appropriate email of where to send the Zoom login information for retreat participation. Note: If you are a Journal of a Kriya Yoga Teacher Patreon Member, or Kriya Yoga Apprenticeship Student, you do not need to register. Login information will be sent to you automatically two days before the sessions begin.

Your Presenters
Angela Hammond is the owner and founder of Main Street Yoga in Fairmont, West Virginia. As an E-RYT 500 and Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Angela’s greatest passion is leading others through guided transformation using the ancient teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda. At Main Street Yoga, she offers 200-hour hatha yoga teacher training and a group health coaching program based on the wisdom of Ayurveda. Ryan Strong is a teacher of Kriya Yoga, an Ayurvedic Doctor, and Vedic Astrologer. He was ordained by his guru Roy Eugene Davis in 2011 to teach and initiate others into Kriya Yoga. He’s a National Ayurvedic Medical Association certified Ayurvedic Doctor, and on faculty at the California College of Ayurveda as a Clinical Instructor. He owns and runs the Center for Yogic and Ayurvedic Medicine www.stronghealthcenter.org.
Ryan Kurczak is a teacher in the Kriya Lineage, initiated and ordained to teach by Roy Eugene Davis, a direct student of Paramahansa Yogananda. Ryan Kurczak is the host of The Kriya Yoga Podcast (https://thekriyayogapodcast.com/) and the founder of the 2-Year Kriya Yoga Apprenticeship Program (https://kriyayogaonline.com/kriya-yoga-apprenticeship/) and the Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program (https://vedic-astrology.teachable.com/). He is also the author of several books, including his most recent book An Essential Guide to Kriya Yoga Practice.
